All Levels Vinyasa

Inspired and creative, this class will pull together a  variety of postures, linking them together in a fluid sequence aimed to cultivate balance, flexibility, strength and endurance. This is a physically challenging class with lots of movement usually set to upbeat music. All Levels Vinyasa encourages a strong focus and calm mind all while toning, strengthening and stretching your whole body!

Ashtanga yoga is a liberating and flowing series of classic Yoga poses, linked one to another by connective movements and breath control. Special emphasis is on Ujjayi Pranayama, an ancient and powerful breathing technique, and on the muscular contractions Uddiyana Bandha (strengthening and cleansing the entire abdomen) and Mulabandha (strengthening and toning the pelvic floor). This practice is a self-care system designed to rejuvenate, strengthen and cleanse the entire body.

The lineage of Ashtanga yoga reaches back thousands of years to the Sanskrit yoga sutras of Patanjalai and is the root from which all modern vinyasa and flow yoga classes have grown. AVS 1 & 2
AVS is a fun whole-body practice, designed to challenge every yoga body. The set sequence will challenge all your muscle groups and keep you mentally engaged. AVS1 offers a consistency that will help you track progress in your practice, while AVS2 builds on the same sequence, but with variations to help develop your practice.
With Ahimsa Vinyasa Set, the poses will stay the same, it will be you that changes!

Beginner Intermediate/ Intermediate Advanced

Balanced Yin

Practitioners are led through a series of poses intended to release range of motion and energy held deep within the joint capsules of the body. Often focusing heavily in the root of our limitations, practitioners practice full control of their parasympathetic nervous system with patient, regulated breathing and deliberate relaxation. Take your time to settle into this 75 minute YIN practice. Exploring the balance between activation and release, your practice will move into the deep layers of the muscle, even incorporating the ligaments and tendons as well. Come as you are, modifications will be offered for any level of experience. Use this practice to fully check in with yourself.

Hatha Flow

Connect your mind, body and spirit with a hybrid hatha flow practice. Balancing breath to movement flow with static holds in postures, the body is moved into a deeper state of relaxation, allowing the mind to center as well. Come as you are.

30 Minute Meditation Break

Take 30 minutes to re-center your week. Using elements of yoga such as chant, meditation and breathwork, you will leave your practice with a sense of calm and focus. Come as you are, no experience necessary. Give yourself the gift of stillness.

Mind/Body Sculpt

Sculpt every muscle from the ground up. Expect a diverse, creative, dynamic class, carefully structured to work the mind, the body and the breath into synchronization. With or without free weights, this class is going to liven and strengthen your being.

Mind Booty Sculpt

Join us for this spin-off of one of our community’s favorite classes, Mind Body Sculpt. Our newest sculpting class focuses primarily on the glutes- one of the most under-developed muscle groups in the body. Strengthening your posterior not only enhances your physical appearance, but it also helps improve posture, alleviate lower back, hip and knee pain. Balancing poses will also benefit from a stronger backside as they play a vital role in stabilizing the pelvis. In the age of technology (or the age of sitting) it’s more important than ever to condition your cushion. In this class, we will focus on engagement, repetition and integration so the booty becomes a regular part of our practice!

Self Care Sunday Flow

The structure of this class loosely resembles that of a Yin/Yang flow. You can expect easing into practice slowly, giving lots of attention to chronically sore areas of the body (wrists, neck, shoulders)…and then moving into a more invigorating practice working on balancing strength building and lengthening muscles. Come as you are to this class, appropriate for all levels.

Strong Soul Flow

A strong, meditative flow. This class encourages a true and deep awareness
of Heart and Soul, while fueling the intelligence of the mind/body connection. You can expect dynamic and playful sequencing for the physical body with poetic emphasis on the energetic body. This class is held in a loving and healing environment.

Sunrise Flow

Rise right with this invigorating All Levels Flow class! Come as you are and experience the physical, mental and spiritual benefits of a disciplined early morning practice. Open your body, unfold your breath and awaken your mind while setting the tone for your day.

Calm the mind and body with Zen, a soothing & restorative yoga class. This practice is designed to restore the nervous system and help release deeply held tensions from the body and mind. Zen requires  little to no muscular exertion; each pose is held for several minutes and deeply supported by props – blankets, bolsters, and blocks. During the class, you will be guided to mindfully and consciously notice thoughts, emotions and sensations in your body. The goal of this practice is to have you leave feeling nourished, well rested and refreshed; with a new cultivated awareness and clarity. Guided Mindfulness Meditation is also incorporated throughout the class. No yoga or meditation experience is needed. Come as you are.

Yin Yang

In this class you will experience the benefits of a balanced practice of yin and yang styles of yoga. The yin style of long-held passive poses opens the body to more flexibility and chi flow through the subtle channels while also engendering a more contemplative, non-reactive quality of mind. Complimented by a more active, dynamic, yang style of vinyasa, Yin Yang provides a balanced practice for strengthening and invigorating the body and mind.
